Step One – APPLICATION
The first step is to speak with one of our International Mortgage Specialists and complete a loan application. Once we have taken your application on the telephone or received it via our Online Application on our website, we will pull a ‘Tri-Merge' credit report so we can review your credit history. Credit history, along with assets and income sources will determine how we will structure your loan. After review, we can explain your options and ‘Pre-Approve' you for the loan you choose. At this point, we will send out a package with a complete list of the documents we will need to process your loan. This package will include such items as written verification of verbal information, bank statements, W-2's and tax returns.
Step Two –PROCESSING
Upon receipt of the various documents that you have sent to us, your loan request will move from Application into our Processing Center. Processing is where all the detailed work and actual verifications will occur. When we are providing a loan in the United States, for a U.S. citizen, the process is very fast and loans can move to Closing in several days. For international loans the process is more detailed and can take several weeks, or longer.
Step Three – UNDERWRITING
After your loan request is processed, and all documentation is in order, your loan request moves to our investor’s Underwriting Department. Once Underwriting has insured that all loan guidelines have been met they will approve your loan and issue a ‘Clear to Close'. This means we have Loan Commitment and the loan moves to Closing.
Step Four – CLOSING and FUNDING –
